Economy of Zimbabwe

I have been getting a lot of e-mail forwards about the common man becoming a millionaire in zimababwe and even simple things cost millions of dollars. So I decided to investigate and I found that the inflation rate of zimbabwe is 80 sextillion(1021)% .It has around 85% employment. What do you think is the reason for such dire circumstances ?
